It's quite large. Bigger than the one in Mall of the Emirates, actually. It has a Starbucks, which wasn't open yet when I visited yesterday.
The book selection was generally good. Prices were in the 3.5 to 6 rial range for regular paperbacks. Trade paperbacks of new releases were more expensive, on average around 7.5 rials. They also had hard cover books which go for as much as 10 or 12 rials. They do have the typical Borders offers as well, like the 3 for 2 selections.
The music and DVD section is a huge mess. There was absolutely no order to how they are placed. It's not alphabetic or anything.
My wife and I spent about an hour there and ended up buying 4 novels, a children's book and a magazine. The total came out 33 rials.
